Neil Haddon

BIOGRAPHY

Heil Haddon lives in Tasmania, Australia.

His work is held in private and public collections internationally and by The National Gallery of Victoria, ArtBank Sydney, The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, and The Gold Coast Arts Centre ( acquired from the Conrad Jupiter’s Art Award )

In 2002 Haddon was awarded a MFA from the University of Tasmania and since has lectured in Painting and recently Digital Media.

Haddon has been represented by dianne tanzer gallery since 2001.

Neil has been the recipient of many prizes and awards including the $30,000 2008 John Glover Prize for landscape painting, for painting Purblind (Opiate), The Whyalla Art Prize 2009 and has been shortlisted for the Shilo Project - Ian Potter Museum of Art 2009, The 2011 Arthur Guy Memorial Prize - Bendigo Art Gallery, the 2011 Wynn Prize - Art Gallery of New South Wales.
