Neil Haddon

Winner Glover Prize

EXHIBITION INFO

Neil Haddon took out the $30,000 Glover Prize with a modern interpretation of the effects of light and the Tasmanian landscape -- some 200 years after John Glover came to Tasmania and was fascinated by its bright light.

Living in West Hobart, Haddon won with a painting entitled Purblind -- a reference to the effect on the eyes when walking into a darkened room from outside.
