EXHIBITION INFO

In 2009, Rennie exhibited at Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces flagship curatorial project, Octopus. Curated by Stephen Gilchrist (curator of Indigenous Art, National Gallery of Australia), Octopus 9: I Forget to Forget, bought together a selection of prominent contemporary artists whose work deals with Indigenous Australia's historical truths. The exhibition was particularly timely, marking 1 year after the Australian Government made a formal apology to Indigenous people who were members of the ‘Stolen Generations’.
